When I was a kid, slides were big. And apparently cheaper than prints.
My mom liked to take pictures, but didn’t always have the extra money to have them printed out.
And now she has stacks and stacks of slide carousels. And the slide projector hasn’t worked in years.
The pictures haven’t been seen in ages. I can’t even remember the last time we rolled down the screen and sat and looked at the slides.
But I want to change that.
I am planning on purchasing a slide scanner so that I can recover some of the missing years of photos from my childhood.
Who knows what memories will be revived? Or what embarrassing pictures could be unearthed?I’m so excited about what I might find.
So, I’m looking for suggestions. Have any of you bought one of these before? What were the results? Is there a certain brand that I should stay away from? Which one works the best (and is still reasonably priced)?
